1900 Kid's Wish For Santa Claus

A letter dated December 15, 1915 from a seven year old boy named Homer Mellen went viral this week of its simplicity and modesty.

The preserved letter's simple wish were a box of paint, school bag and some candies. That is all.

This letter reminds us of how simple life could it be during those days, but as decades gone by, life has evolved into a sophisticated but more complex lifestyle.
Now we wonder, what a 20th century kid will wish from Santa. Well, my niece just had a quick talked with me about having an Ipad Mini as a Christmas presents' wish from her parents.

So, what do you think now of the difference?
